The Port Authority of Valencia (APV), under the commercial name of Valenciaport, is the public body responsible for the management of three state-owned ports located along 80 kilometers on the eastern edge of the Spanish Mediterranean: Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía.

Valenciaport is the leading Spanish port in the Mediterranean in commercial traffic, mainly of containerized goods, thanks above all to a dynamic area of influence and an extensive network of connections with the main ports in the world.

Its main mission is to sustainably promote the external competitiveness of the business fabric of its area of influence through a competitive offer in quality and price of port, maritime, intermodal and logistics infrastructure and services aligned with European transport policies.

It is a new tool to know every detail about freight traffics in the ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía.
The information is divided in three reports depending of the goods. Each report presents information about monthly data and annual data.

- Traffic according to form of presentation: you can find information depending on the form of presentation, traffic and port by geographic area, country or port of origin or destination as well as according to the nature and use of the merchandise transported.

 


 - Containerized Merchandise Traffic: provides details of the TEUs moved by geographic area, country or port, as well as the nature or use of the merchandise transported. Some of the variables offer the data of the number of containers.


- Vehicle traffic: provides details of the vehicle and UTI traffic by geographical areas, countries and ports of origin or destination, for each of the ports of Valenciaport and traffic in which participates. 

 LOGISTICS SERVICES

Valencia port has implanted logistics activity areas in ports responding to the handling and distribution requirements of maritime merchandise. The Port Authority of Valencia promotes, executes and operates:
  • ZAL PORT OF VALENCIA: Area of 68 hectares dedicated to the logistics of maritime merchandise, particularly containerized.

  • ZAL PORT OF SAGUNTO: Its is a logisctics centre oriented to import and export maritime traffic that fulfills the needs of freight forwarders, logistics operators, importers and exporters.


Valencia Port offers you a Web Information Service for Customers and Suppliers aimed at customers and suppliers of Valencia Port. By registering for this service and free of charge, Valencia Port customers and suppliers will be able to check the information at any time of the day.

As we can see in a lot of news, Valenciaport stands out for its awards that it has obtained thanks to the success of its projects.

1.  ARUP University has chosen Valenciaport for ''being the busiest in Spain and Southern Europe, because ir operates all types of traffic and for its strong commitment to data transparency''

2.  An initiative of Valenciaport will contribute to decarbonize operations, facilitate the reduction of emissions and support the creation of renewable energy system. Pedro Sánchez stands out this proyect as a reference within ''Hoja de Ruta de Hidrógeno''.


3. Valenciaport has once again set a new historical record: last October it handled 508,177 TEUs, the highest figure in its entire statistical series.

VALENCIAPORT AGAINST COVID-19!

Unlike other ports, Valenciaport is one of the better prepared for this situation. It has managed this unpredictable coronavirus crisis in their best way.
Valenciaport has succesfully managed the covid crisis thanks to the implementation of a series of measures.
One of the measures they have implanted is providing liquidity, advancing payments to suppliers and agents of the port community, having already advanced until april 24, 2020 6'8 million euros.


It also complies with all security measures against the coronavirus to ensure good health and hygiene.

They also give a real importance to the safety of their workers providing them all the necessary material against COVID-19 like masks.

The Port Authority of Valencia has certified its Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001 Standard, in order to ensure optimal customer service and continuous improvement  of management processes.
